WORLD AMATEUR GOLFERS CHAMPIONSHIP
IS THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS AMATEURS GOLF TOURNAMENT IN THE WORLD
PLAYED BY GOLFERS FROM OVER 40 COUNTRIES IN 🌍 THE WORLD
UK 🇬🇧 will participate in this event for the first time ever!
The event is organised in two formats: WAGC (Championship) and WAGI (Invitational) - please refer to www.worldgolfers.com.
In each country, there a number of qualifying rounds during the year, normally Apr-Aug with the national finals in Aug or Sep. The world finals are played normally in November. This year the finals will be staged on Nov 04-11 in Phuket, Thailand. More information in www.worldgolfers.com.
The competition is played in 5 handicaps divisions (0-5, 5-10, etc).
If you finish top 3 in your group at qualifying round you will get the right to play in the National final.
Everybody can play as many qualifying round as they wish, of course they will need to pay entry fee for each qualifying event.
Top 3 players in each division at every qualifying event will receive winning prizes!

30th July 2023 – Sweetwoods Golf Club
6th August 2023 – Dalmohoy
12th August 2023 – Pine Ridge Golf Club
18th August 2023 – Royal Belfast Golf Club
16th September 2023 – UK National FINAL – St. Mellion - Nicklaus Signature Course
The winners of top 5 divisions (0-25) will be representing the UK in the World Finals:
4-11 November 2023, Laguna, Phuket,Thailand
